Meet our Storytellers!

Nestled in the heart of the Finger Lakes, The Lake Remembers is a gentle, lyrical story told through the voice of Keuka Lake itself. As one family returns to their beloved cottage summer after summer, the lake quietly watches, listens, and holds every memory—from skipped stones to sparkler dances, barefoot splashes to whispered secrets.

"It Flew Right Out Your Ear" is the tale of how a young child figured out the best way to keep thoughts from flying out the ear! Told in verse with predictive text, this book is perfect as a 'read to me' book, especially for young ones just showing an interest in reading. The story's illustrations are gender and race neutral, so readers are encouraged to color the book to fit them best!

Marta and her husband, Matt, have two farmers’ markets-Keuka Trail Farm Market and a satellite location where they raise honeybees and sell honey, honeybee products, as well as other novelty goods from the area. As a former teacher, Marta’s love of sharing knowledge, particularly of the importance of honeybees, was the idea for this book.
