A Day of Giving at Outlet 111 — December 6

Help Support The Family Meal Project

There are few things more comforting than a warm holiday meal shared with family — especially for those who need it most. This season, our community is coming together once again to support The Family Meal Project, an effort dedicated to delivering 400 chef-prepared, heartwarming holiday meals to families across Yates and Steuben Counties.

On Saturday, December 6, Outlet 111 — located at 111 Liberty Street, Penn Yan, NY — is opening its doors and its heart for a full day of fundraising, flavor, and holiday spirit. From special menu features to guest bartenders and donation perks, it’s a day built around giving back, lifting up, and celebrating what it truly means to be part of this community.

🍜 A Soul-Warming Food Feature

To kick off this day of giving, Chef Linnea Shumway will be serving up a special Tonkatsu Ramen — rich, comforting, and crafted to bring a little extra warmth to the season. Whether you’re joining for lunch, dinner, or somewhere in between, it’s the perfect bowl for both your stomach and your spirit.

🍸 Guest Bartenders All Day Long

Your favorite local leaders, creators, and community champions will be stepping behind the bar to help raise funds — and maybe show off a few hidden talents. Stop in during your preferred time slot or stay all day to cheer them on!

12:00–1:30 PM
• Nathan Baker – FingerLakes Entertainment

1:00–2:30 PM
• Steve Griffin – Finger Lakes Economic Development Center

2:00–3:30 PM
• Kenneth Walker – Penn Yan Board of Education President & Keuka College

3:30–5:00 P
• Tim & Lindsey Dawkins – Red Hammer Cider & The Living Well

5:00–9:00 PM
• Linnea Shumway & Darrell VanNederynen – Minimalist Chef & Podunk Farm

Each shift brings new faces, new energy, and new reasons to raise a glass in support of families who could use a little extra holiday comfort.

🎁 Donation Perks: Give & Receive

Anyone who brings monetary donations or essential items (for family kits and children’s goodie bags) will receive a discount on drinks as a thank-you from Outlet 111.

Essential items include:

• Small toys
• Books
• Warm socks
• Personal care items
• Holiday treats
• Family-friendly household essentials

Your donation — big or small — goes directly toward helping families experience a holiday filled with warmth, nourishment, and dignity.

πŸ’› A Community Tradition of Kindness

The holidays shine brightest when we show up for one another. By joining us on December 6, you’ll help ensure that hundreds of families across Yates and Steuben Counties receive not just a meal — but a moment of comfort, care, and connection.

And here at Keuka Roots, we believe these moments grow the heart of our community.

If you’ve ever wondered what makes this region so special, it’s days like this — neighbors showing up, stories intertwining, kindness unfolding in simple, beautiful ways.

So I hope you’ll stop in, even if only for a few minutes, to be part of something that truly matters.

Bring a donation. Share a smile. Order the ramen. Cheer on a guest bartender.

Every gesture becomes a thread in the fabric of care that holds our community together.

Let’s fill this season with warmth, generosity, and the kind of spirit that reminds us why we call this place home.

Come be part of the story. Come be part of the giving.
