🍂 COMING UP THIS WEEKEND!
❤️ A Little Heart, a Little Hometown Fun & a Whole Lot of Keuka!
Your Guide to a Wonderful Fall Weekend Around Our Crooked Lake!
I know, I know. Jack Frost may be tapping at our doors this weekend, but around this crooked lake, we're a hardy lot! A little frost on the pumpkins isn't going to keep us from getting out and enjoying everything our beautiful corner of the Finger Lakes has to offer.
And this weekend? Well, I've got a little something for your heart, something for your dancing feet, some mighty good food, and something for that Stanley cup you've been carrying around!
So grab your favorite sweater, pour another cup of coffee, and let's plan a weekend worth remembering!
❤️ SATURDAY MORNING: The Gift of Time — Remembering Nathan Wilson
Some stories stay with you long after you've heard them.
Nathan Wilson's is one of those stories.
During Nathan's final days, 26 units of donated blood gave his family something no amount of money could ever buy — eight more precious days together.
Eight more days of love. Eight more days of memories. Eight more days to hold a hand, share a smile, and give one more hug.
And from those precious days, something beautiful was born.
The Nathan Wilson Memorial “Need a Hug” Blood Drive.
This Saturday, October 17, from 8 AM until 2 PM, family, friends, and neighbors will gather at Hutches Red Barn in Hammondsport to honor Nathan's memory by giving others that same precious gift of time.
But this isn't just a blood drive. It's a gathering of hearts.
Whether you roll up your sleeve to donate blood, fill a bag with delicious homemade baked goods, purchase a raffle ticket, make a donation, or simply stop by to give someone a hug, you'll be part of something truly special.
Because around Keuka, we know that sometimes the smallest acts of kindness leave the biggest footprints on our hearts.

🍁 SATURDAY AFTERNOON: Raise a Toast to Keuka at Chris B's Oktoberfest!
Now, after a morning that fills your heart, how about an afternoon filled with great food, fantastic music, laughter, and a little hometown celebration?
Because Chris B's Oktoberfest at Finger Lakes Beer Company is calling!
And you all know we love us some of Chris B's culinary creations!
Seriously, that man knows his way around a kitchen, and I have a feeling he'll be cooking up something mighty delicious for this Oktoberfest celebration!
And did somebody say States Apart? 🎶
Oh, now you're really speaking my language!
One of our favorite local duos will be bringing the music, Chris B will be working his magic with the food, and Finger Lakes Beer Company will have the brews ready for a proper fall celebration!
I can't think of a better way to spend a crisp October Saturday than gathering with friends, enjoying some fabulous food, raising a glass, and tapping your toes to some great local music.
Because let's face it, friends. Good food, cold beer, great music, and familiar faces? That's a recipe for a perfect Keuka Saturday!

And don't wear yourself out on Saturday, friends, because Sunday's adventure requires a little preparation.
Namely, finding that Stanley cup!
🍦 SUNDAY: Stuff Your Stanley at Seneca Farms!
Now, friends, if Saturday is for the heart and the music, Sunday is apparently for the ICE CREAM!
And not just a little ice cream.
FIVE SCOOPS OF ICE CREAM! 😂
Yes, those enormous Stanley cups we've all been hauling around like they're essential survival equipment are finally getting the opportunity to fulfill their true destiny.
BEING STUFFED WITH HOMEMADE ICE CREAM!
Seneca Farms is bringing back its wildly popular Stuff Your Stanley event, and for just $10, they'll fill your clean Stanley — or similar oversized cup — with five glorious scoops of their homemade ice cream.
Five scoops, friends. FIVE!
Now, I don't know about you, but that sounds like a pretty good excuse to skip making dessert on Sunday.
And here's the best part. I've heard from very reliable sources that during the last event, some folks were still enjoying their frozen treasures at 9 o'clock that night!
Now THAT is what I call a bargain!
📍 Seneca Farms — 2485 State Route 54A, Penn Yan
🍦 Sunday, October 18 | 10:30 AM – 9 PM
💲 Five scoops for just $10!
Bring your clean Stanley or similar cup, your appetite, and perhaps a little extra room in those stretchy pants.
Jack Frost might be hanging around, but apparently nobody told Seneca Farms that ice cream season is supposed to end!
And frankly, I'm glad they didn't. 😉
❤️ One Crooked Lake. One Wonderful Weekend.
You know, sometimes I think the best things about living around Keuka aren't really things at all.
They're moments.
The moments when a community gathers to honor someone they love.
The moments when music fills the air, delicious food brings friends together, and neighbors raise a glass in celebration.
And yes, even those wonderfully silly moments when we discover that our favorite drinking cups can hold five scoops of ice cream!
It's all part of the beautiful patchwork of life around our crooked lake.
So get out there this weekend, friends. Give a little love. Share a little laughter. Raise a toast. Eat the ice cream.
And make a memory or two along the way.
Because these are the little moments that make our small towns so special.
Stay Rooted. Stay Keuka.™ ❤️
