🎃 Trick-or-Treat… with a Little Curtiss Magic!

A Spooktacular Family Adventure at the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum!

Our friends at the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum are trading wings and wheels for witches and ghouls, pumpkins and plenty of Halloween treats!

And if you're looking for a little family fun around Keuka Lake this weekend, they've got something brewing that you won't want to miss!

Now, we all know the museum is home to some pretty incredible history. After all, Glenn Curtiss knew a thing or two about making hearts race! But on Saturday, October 24, the museum is putting a delightfully spooky spin on things, inviting little ghosts, goblins, princesses, superheroes, and their grown-ups to enjoy a Halloween adventure among the exhibits.

And don't worry, grown-ups. You're invited to join the fun, too!

(Personally, I think any event that involves candy and a little Halloween mischief deserves a spot on the family calendar!)

👻 A Little History, a Little Hocus-Pocus, and a Whole Lot of Fun!

From 11 AM to 3 PM, the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum will be filled with Halloween surprises, decorated tables, and plenty of opportunities to make some sweet family memories.

Here's what's waiting for your little trick-or-treaters:

🍬 Trick-or-Treat Through the Museum!

Forget going door to door! Little visitors can wander through the museum, stopping at trick-or-treat tables along the way. Imagine collecting Halloween goodies while surrounded by historic airplanes, motorcycles, and the incredible inventions that helped put Hammondsport on the map!

🎃 Spooky Surprises Around Every Corner!

The museum will be dressed for the occasion with festive Halloween tables, surprises, and family-friendly fun throughout the building. Just enough spooky to make things exciting without sending the little ones running for the nearest grown-up!

🧙 A Costume Parade!

Here's your chance to show off those creative Halloween costumes!

Whether your little one arrives as a flying witch, a friendly ghost, a superhero, or perhaps even a miniature aviator inspired by Glenn Curtiss himself, everyone is encouraged to dress up and join the parade.

And wouldn't a little Glenn Curtiss costume be absolutely adorable?

❤️ Why We Love Events Like This Around Keuka

One of the things I love most about our little corner of the Finger Lakes is how our local museums and organizations find creative ways to bring families together.

The Glenn H. Curtiss Museum does a wonderful job of keeping the remarkable story of our hometown aviation pioneer alive. And events like this introduce a whole new generation to a place filled with history, imagination, and discovery.

Who knows? A little trick-or-treater might arrive looking for candy and leave dreaming of airplanes!

And wouldn't Glenn Curtiss, a boy who spent his childhood chasing the wind and dreaming of possibilities, have gotten a kick out of that?

🎃 So Grab Those Costumes and Bring the Little Goblins!

If you're looking for something fun to do with the children or grandchildren this Saturday, head to Hammondsport for an afternoon of Halloween magic at the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum.

A little candy. A little spooky fun. A whole lot of hometown charm.

Because around Keuka Lake, even Halloween comes with a little history!

Happy haunting, Keuka friends!
