Healthy Bites Around Keuka

The Wonder Behind Wholesome Wonders

Sometimes the best ideas aren't carefully planned.

Sometimes they arrive in a single unexpected moment.

For Teresa Vivier, the owner of Wholesome Wonders, that moment happened while she was sitting at The Windmill Farm & Craft Market with her mom. As they talked and watched the crowds wander through the market, a simple idea sparked.

What if there was a place serving fresh, wholesome food?

Not just another quick bite—but colorful bowls, nourishing ingredients, vibrant flavors, and meals that made people feel as good as they tasted.

The idea came so quickly that Teresa didn't let it drift away.

She walked straight to The Windmill office.

By the time the next market season arrived, Wholesome Wonders had become a reality.

If Teresa's name sounds familiar, it may be because many locals first came to know her through Baked & Loaded. But visionaries are always imagining what's next, and Teresa saw an opportunity to create something completely different—something that reflected her passion for wholesome food while celebrating the fresh flavors of the Finger Lakes and beyond.

Today, visitors to The Windmill can stop into the Wholesome Wonders shop and enjoy vibrant açaí bowls, refreshing smoothies, hearty grain bowls, fresh breakfasts, and wholesome lunches made with simple, flavorful ingredients. Every bowl is thoughtfully prepared, proving that healthy food can also be satisfying, colorful, and incredibly delicious.

But the story didn't stop there.

As more visitors discovered Wholesome Wonders, they began asking the same question:

"Would you come to our event?"

"Could you cater our party?"

"Can you bring this to our community festival?"

Those conversations inspired Teresa's next adventure.

Enter the Wholesome Wonders Food Truck.

Today, the bright, welcoming truck travels throughout the Finger Lakes, bringing Teresa's fresh creations to fairs, festivals, weddings, private gatherings, and community celebrations. In fact, this year's calendar is packed with events from one end of the region to the other—a testament to how quickly word has spread about the wholesome meals and warm hospitality that have become her signature.

At Keuka Roots™, we love stories like this because they remind us that small businesses often begin with one simple idea, one leap of faith, and one person willing to believe in it.

Teresa Vivier is one of those people.

She saw an opportunity to bring something new to The Windmill, followed her instincts, and built a business that continues to grow while nourishing communities across the Finger Lakes.

That's the wonder behind Wholesome Wonders.

Simple.

Delicious.

Wholesome.

And proof that sometimes the biggest dreams begin with a conversation... and a light bulb moment.

Ready to discover the wonder for yourself?

Visit Wholesome Wonders every Saturday at The Windmill Farm & Craft Market in Building 2, where Teresa and her team are serving up fresh, colorful creations all market season long.
