The Windmill Farm & Craft Market Celebrates the

Red, White, and Blue

From the day the first merchant set up a stand at The Windmill Farm & Craft Market more than 40 years ago with little more than a dream and a whole lot of faith, The Windmill has been a gathering place for community and visitors alike.

Over the years, it has grown into a vibrant melting pot of farmers, entrepreneurs, cultures, and craftsmanship. With more than 170 shops, The Windmill captures the heart of Keuka—and America—every Saturday.

From the bounty of fresh harvests offered by local farmers and Mennonite families to the expert craftsmanship showcased throughout the market, every corner tells a story.

And then there's the food.

From classic American favorites to wholesome bites and flavors inspired by cultures far beyond the shores of Keuka Lake, there's something to satisfy every appetite.

Gift shops celebrate the unique, while clothing boutiques capture every style—from vintage charm to today's favorites.

No matter what a merchant offers, there is an unspoken thread that connects them all.

Though The Windmill may be just over 40 years old, it effortlessly captures the spirit of our forefathers and the America they envisioned 250 years ago: community, dreams, hope, faith, and the simple joy of gathering together. Here, strangers become friends, and friends become family.

There is something deeply meaningful about honoring our past and the roots planted by those who came before us. Around this crooked lake that connects our communities, yesterday seems to whisper to the souls of those who now call this place home.

You can feel it in the shops that come to life every Saturday. You can see it in the entrepreneurial spirit of those pursuing dreams of owning a business. It shines through in warm greetings, friendly banter, and the familiar smiles exchanged between neighbors and visitors alike.

Whether they have spent decades setting up on the grounds of The Windmill or are just planting the first seeds of their journey, every merchant has a story—one that is nurtured, cultivated, and woven into the enduring vision of The Windmill's founders.

These are the very roots that bind them together. These are the roots that remind us where we came from, inspire where we are going, and call us all home.

Special Events at The Windmill: July 3 & 4

Two days of red, white, and blue. Two days—yes, two days—to stroll through The Windmill and celebrate America's 250th anniversary!

For this special occasion, The Windmill Farm & Craft Market will be open both Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Whether you're searching for fresh local produce, handcrafted treasures, delicious food, or simply an excuse to gather with family and friends, there's no better place to celebrate the spirit of community that defines both The Windmill and our nation.

In addition to the opportunity to explore more than 170 shops and visit your favorite merchants, The Windmill has planned a variety of special events to make this patriotic weekend even more memorable.

Here are the festivities you won't want to miss:

Enjoy live music throughout the weekend, with the Woodhull Community Band performing on Friday and Emilio Benites taking the stage on Saturday.

Experience the sights and sounds of history with a Civil War Living History display, available both Friday and Saturday.

Keep an ear out for the whimsical melodies of a roaming calliope player as you stroll through the market.

Bring the whole family and enjoy face painting for children and the young at heart on both days.

On Friday, balloon artist Sir James will be on hand to delight and entertain the kiddos with his creative creations.

As you wander through the market, take your time. Visit a new shop. Sample something new and delicious. Strike up a conversation with a merchant. You never know what story you might discover or what memory you might create.

A Keuka Roots Reflection

I know I'm biased—I love The Windmill.

I love its merchants. I love discovering something unique around every corner. I love the vibrant colors bursting from freshly picked gardens and fields. I love trying a different bite each time I visit and, somehow, always finding a sweet treat that makes its way into my bag.

I love the laughter that echoes through the buildings and drifts on the breeze outside.

For me, there's no better place to spend a Saturday, whether for a few hours or an entire day.

The Windmill is America at its finest—a place where hard work, dreams, community, and tradition come together. It is more than a market; it is part of the heartbeat of Keuka.

Stay Rooted. Stay Keuka.™
