Hammondsport Cookie Walk Returns December 6th

πŸͺ✨ A Sweet Stroll Through Hammondsport πŸͺ✨

“Where Every Cookie Tells a Story.”

There are few sights more heartwarming than December in Hammondsport — the village square glowing under strings of lights, shop windows dressed for the season, and the air rich with the scent of cinnamon, sugar, and small-town cheer. It’s the kind of scene that feels lifted from a storybook… the kind you want to step into and stay awhile.

On Saturday, December 6th from 10 AM to 2 PM, the beloved Hammondsport Cookie Walk returns, inviting families, friends, and holiday wanderers to enjoy one of the village’s sweetest traditions.

πŸͺ A Village-Wide Sugar-Dusted Adventure

The Cookie Walk is simple and delightful:
Stroll through participating businesses, collect homemade cookies along the way, and fill your festive tin with treats to take home (if they make it that long!). It’s part scavenger hunt, part holiday shopping day, and entirely woven with the warmth of community.

Shops open their doors with smiles, cozy displays, and trays of cookies that look almost too perfect to nibble… almost.

πŸŽ„ Cookie Tins: A Cherished Tradition

The tins released on November 14th sold out in a flash, a true testament to the excitement surrounding this sweet holiday tradition.

But good news —
souvenir tins will be available on December 8th for anyone who still wants a festive keepsake!

πŸͺ✨ No Tin? No Problem!

ο»Ώ

Though event tins are officially sold out, the magic of Hammondsport on December 6th is always open to everyone.

You can still wander the village square, soak in the twinkle lights, admire the decorated shop windows, sip something warm, and feel that unmistakable holiday spirit that only Hammondsport can create.

There’s cheer in every corner, music in the air, friendly faces at every storefront, and gifts waiting to be discovered. Even without a tin, it’s the perfect day to shop local, support small businesses, and make a little December memory of your own.

Because the true magic of the Cookie Walk isn’t just in the cookies —
it’s in the community that gathers to share the moment. βœ¨πŸŽ„

πŸŽ„βœ¨ Kick Off the Holidays at the Library βœ¨πŸŽ„

The Fred & Harriett Taylor Memorial Library invites the community to Kick Off the Holidays on Saturday, December 6th from 10am–2pm downstairs at the library. Guests can enjoy a festive πŸͺ Cookie Walk, lively music from the 🎷 HCS Jazz Band, hands-on 🎨 holiday card making, an 🐾 SPCA fundraiser, a πŸ“š book sale, and 🧡 handmade pet toys from Threads. It’s a cheerful celebration filled with treats, creativity, and holiday spirit for all ages!

✨ A Day Made for Making Memories

Whether you come for the cookies, the company, the twinkle of Main Street, or the joy of holiday shopping, the Cookie Walk captures the spirit of the season in the sweetest way. It’s a celebration of togetherness — neighbors greeting neighbors, visitors becoming friends, and families creating traditions that last far longer than the treats in the tin.

πŸ’› A Note from Keuka Roots & StorySprout

At Keuka Roots, we believe in the simple magic of community — the way a shared smile, a warm storefront, or a cookie offered with love can turn an ordinary December day into something unforgettable. Hammondsport’s Cookie Walk embodies that spirit perfectly.

And as for StorySprout?
Well, she may be tiny, but she knows a thing or two about the magic that happens when neighbors come together. If you listen closely while wandering the village square, you might just hear the faint rustle of her sprout-green satchel or catch a twinkle of cinnamon-dust floating in the air. She’ll be collecting stories, too — because it’s true, every cookie has a story baked into it with love.

From our hearts to yours —
Thank you for supporting local businesses, celebrating community traditions, and keeping the spirit of the season rooted in warmth and wonder.

Stay Rooted, Stay Keuka.
