The Hammondsport Winter Stroll

Where winter glows instead of chills

There are winter evenings in Hammondsport that feel almost suspended in time — when the sidewalks sparkle, storefront windows shine a little brighter, and the cold air somehow invites people closer instead of sending them indoors.

ο»Ώ

The Hammondsport Winter Stroll is one of those nights.

On Saturday, February 28, 2026 | 5–8 PM, our lakeside village transforms into a relaxed, adults-only tasting experience. This is a 21 and over event, where each participating business hosts a local winery, brewery, distillery, or cidery — turning the entire village into one walkable tasting trail.

Guests pick up their wristband and glass, then stroll Main Street at their own pace, stepping into warm storefronts to sample regional craft beverages, discover new favorites, and enjoy small bites and friendly conversation along the way. Inside the Visitor Center you’ll also find select vendors offering tastings, treats, and local goods.

About 300 guests join us each year — and it quickly becomes clear why.

This isn’t just a tasting event.

It’s a community evening wrapped in lights, laughter, and winter charm.

It’s neighbors greeting neighbors.

Visitors discovering why people fall in love with Hammondsport.
And proof that winter in the Finger Lakes isn’t empty — it’s intimate.
