A Night of Spooks, Smiles & Small-Town Magic

There’s something truly special about Halloween in the Village of Hammondsport. As twilight settles over the square, the lamps begin to glow, and the crisp autumn air carries that unmistakable mix of excitement and nostalgia. It’s the kind of evening that could have stepped straight out of a storybook — or a classic painting of small-town America come to life.

TONIGHT!!! Don’t miss out on all the Halloween festivities in the Village! The fun kicks off at 5:30 PM when the Witches of the Southern Tier sweep into the Square with their annual performance — a local favorite full of sparkle, laughter, and a touch of spooky charm.

From 6:00 to 7:30 PM, little ghosts, goblins, superheroes, and princesses will fill the streets for Trick-or-Treating throughout the village. Porch lights twinkle, shop doors open wide, and the whole community comes together to celebrate the joy of childhood in the heart of Hammondsport.

As the evening winds down, be sure to stay for the Halloween Parade around the Square at 7:30 PM, complete with a costume contest that’s sure to delight kids and grown-ups alike. Whether you’re marching in costume or cheering from the sidelines with a cup of cider in hand, it’s one of those nights that reminds you why we love small-town life so much.

So grab your hat, bundle up, and head to the Square — because tonight, Hammondsport shines under the spell of Halloween. πŸ‘»πŸ•―οΈπŸ¬
