That’s Jerry. A man of many hats, many tales, and one steady foundation—faith, family, and the belief that moments matter.
Filling Dance Floors, Filling Hearts
Jerry’s journey as a wedding DJ started more than thirty years ago, when a friend asked for help at his DJ company. What began as a favor became a lifelong calling. In 2010 he went on his own and formed Prestige Worldwide Entertainment. Jerry has brought joy to celebrations from rustic barns to grand ballrooms up and down the East Coast.
But Jerry will be the first to tell you—it’s not about the music.
“I get to be part of one of the most important days in a couple’s life,” he says with a smile. “It’s about creating a space where they can let go of the stress, be fully present, and just celebrate with the people they love.”
For Jerry, the job is about the heartbeat of a moment—the laugh, the twirl on the dance floor, the look between two people who just promised forever.
Building Marriages, Not Just Memories
That passion for weddings grew into something bigger. Jerry saw couples stepping into marriage full of love but sometimes unprepared for the everyday challenges ahead. So he wrote Say I Do, Not I’ll Try, a book and workbook designed to spark honest conversations before the aisle.
“Marriages are designed to be forever,” Jerry says, leaning in as if sharing advice with a friend. “When you say ‘I do,’ it should never be ‘I’ll try.’ My goal is to help couples build the kind of foundation that lasts.”
His coaching and book have become a quiet extension of his DJ work—helping couples not only celebrate the big day but also the days, months, and years to come.
Stories Beneath the Trees
When he’s not guiding couples or spinning records, Jerry’s imagination carries him somewhere magical: Maplewood Forest.
In his recently published children’s collection,
Tales From Maplewood Forest, woodland characters pass along lessons about life. A buffalo teaches bravery. A porcupine reminds us to love who we are. A beaver shows the wisdom of thinking ahead.
The stories are gentle and filled with heart, the kind of tales you’d read at bedtime and carry with you long after the lights go out. For Jerry, it’s another way of planting seeds of kindness, resilience, and hope—values he believes should always be passed forward.
A Sauce With a Story
Of course, no conversation with Jerry is complete without talking about the sauce.
What began as a family recipe, inspired by Dave Leach’s Legendary Leachy Sauce, cooked up for fun has grown into Legendary Super Sauce, a regional favorite now found in restaurants, caterers’ kitchens, and backyard barbecues alike. It’s even made its way onto The Butcher’s Son’s famous Ghost Burger—winner of Best New York Burger 2025.
The word “Legendary” isn’t just a clever name. For Jerry, it captures what he’s always tried to do: turn ordinary things into unforgettable ones—whether that’s a wedding playlist, a bedtime story, or a burger topped with his sauce.
