🌱✨ STORYSPROUT’S SECOND STOP OF THE DAY

Can you guess where our tiny winter friend fluttered off to next?

After a day filled with color and creativity at the Arts Center of Yates County, StorySprout’s evening adventure brings her somewhere lively… musical… and full of rhythm, guitars, and heart.

ο»Ώ

Here are your three clues:

🎡 Clue 1: This Main Street haven is filled with strings, drumbeats, and melodies waiting to be discovered — a treasure chest for musicians young and old.

🎀 Clue 2: Every week, voices rise and stories unfold during a beloved Open Mic Night, where community members gather to share songs, poems, and laughter.

🎸 Clue 3: The owner is a local legend with a passion for teaching, jamming, and nurturing musicians — and rumor has it, he might help a tiny elf make her musical debut.

✨ Did you solve it?

🌟 StorySprout Has Landed at Dave Boyd’s Music!

Where music fills the air, creativity spills from every corner, and community gathers in harmony.

As StorySprout fluttered through the doorway, she was instantly greeted by the warm glow of hanging guitars, the twang of strings being tuned, and the comforting scent of old wood and new possibility. This isn’t just a music shop — it’s the melody of Penn Yan.

As the sun dipped and early evening settled, she tip-toed across amplifier knobs, perched on the tuning keys of an acoustic guitar, and even gave a tiny tap on a drum… just to hear how it sounded. (She giggled. It echoed.)

She spent explored the displays, marveling at the guitars and drums, and enjoying a personal tour from Dave himself, who showed her some of his favorite instruments and shared stories about the shop’s beloved Open Mic Night. As he talked about the laughter, the courage, and the hometown magic that fills the room each week, StorySprout’s eyes sparkled…

She may or may not be planning a tiny surprise musical debut of her own.

But before she shares her tiny tune, StorySprout wanted to shine a bright spotlight on this beloved Penn Yan treasure…

She tucked this little verse behind a guitar pick:

🌱 StorySprout’s Scroll

“Where melodies rise and kindness plays,

your song can brighten winter days.

Strum your heart — let your music stay.” 🎢✨

~StorySprout

As her two-stop sparkle day continues, StorySprout is already tuning up for tomorrow’s adventures. Who knows where her tiny boots will land next?

πŸ’™ A Note from Keuka Roots

Music — much like Keuka Lake — has a way of gathering people together. Its melodies ripple out like gentle waves, carrying stories, memories, and moments that feel like home. In a world that moves quickly, places like Dave Boyd’s Music remind us that connection still thrives in simple, meaningful spaces: a shared song, a familiar chord, a welcoming room on Main Street.

Here, just as along our beloved Y-shaped shores, creativity becomes community — and community becomes the heart of who we are.

Stay Rooted. Stay Keuka. Stay Sparkled. And Let Your Music Fill the Air. ✨
